For the indoor bowler we have eight rinks played on greengage carpet. We run at least 16 competitive internal leagues throughout the winter season plus Mens and Ladies teams in the County League Programme. We also field teams to play in various County and National Competitions. For the experienced bowler there is ample opportunity for them to enjoy good competitive bowling.

For the inexperienced bowler and for beginners we offer coaching by our qualified team of coaches. Courses normally run for 6 weeks and the cost for this course is reasonably priced. All equipment is normally provided but all we ask is that you wear flat heeled shoes. Bowls is becoming more popular with children and we offer coaching from our dedicated team of coaches who specalise in teaching children to play bowls.

During the summer months we have a full size outdoor green and enter teams in at least 7 competitive leagues. So if you’re an experienced bowler of beginner come and enjoy bowls at North Walsham. Even if you are not a bowler but fancy watching come and enjoy a drink and something to eat and watch bowls from our spacious bar which overlooks our indoor bowls green.
